On September 19, 2023, the Oak Grove Board of Education approved the administration's plan to use e-learning instruction in place of emergency days. The plan was developed in collaboration with the Oak Grove Education Association, with input from the parent community. On September 21, 2023, the Lake County Regional Office of Education (LCROE) formally approved the district's application, allowing Oak Grove to use e-learning days immediately and for the following three years.
On an e-learning day, school is not canceled — instruction continues remotely, and the day counts as a regular attendance day.
