New students
Families new to Oak Grove can begin enrollment any time during the year. To register a new student you will need:
- Two proofs of residency in the district
- The student's original birth certificate
- Up-to-date immunization and health records
- A photo ID for the enrolling parent or guardian
- Any custody or guardianship paperwork, if applicable
Bring these to the District Office and our staff will walk you through the rest.
To begin, contact the front office at (847) 367-4120 or School Registrar Michelle Mercurio at mercurio@ogschool.org. After a short information exchange, you'll receive login credentials to complete registration online. For technical help, contact Dave Huber.

Returning students
Returning families are provided login credentials and instructions to complete online re-registration each year, usually in May. Re-registration confirms your contact information, health forms, and permissions for the coming year. If you haven't received your instructions, contact School Registrar Michelle Mercurio at mercurio@ogschool.org.
McKinney-Vento Program
Families experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness have rights under the federal McKinney-Vento Act. For support, contact Director of Student Services Angela Phillips at aphillips@ogschool.org.
Residency
Oak Grove School District 68 serves students who reside within district boundaries. If you're unsure whether your address is in the district, contact the office and we'll confirm.
