Safe, predictable arrival and dismissal depends on everyone following the same routine. Please review these procedures at the start of each year.
Arrival
- Supervision begins at 8:20 a.m. Please do not drop students off before then.
- Use the car line along the front drive; pull all the way forward before students exit on the passenger side.
- Students who walk or bike enter through the main doors and go directly to their homeroom.
Dismissal
- Grades K–5 dismiss at 3:15 p.m.; grades 6–8 at 3:20 p.m.
- Car-line families display their student name card on the dashboard so staff can call students efficiently.
- Walkers and bikers are released from the side doors with crossing-guard support at the O'Plaine Road crosswalk.
Changes to a student's routine
If your child's usual pick-up changes for the day, notify the office in writing or by phone before 2:30 p.m. so we can pass the message along in time.
