Oak Grove launched its dedicated STEM program in 2022–23. Students build real skills in engineering, design, and computational thinking, taught by STEM instructor Dan Henneberry.
K–5 STEM
Students in grades 1, 3, and 5 take exploratory STEM rotations, while students in grades 2, 4, and 8 engage in STEM design and engineering through the Library Media Centers.
6–8 Project Lead the Way (PLTW)
Junior-high students take Project Lead the Way engineering courses:
- Grade 6 — Design & Modeling
- Grade 7 — Flight & Space
- Grades 7–8 — Automation & Robotics
- Grade 8 — Robotics I, then Robotics II
